Bullet journaling is a way of creating a custom storyline for yourself, where each page represents a day full of tasks, thoughts and ideas. All within the confines of a little old Moleskine journal.

Firstly, bullet journal stickers are what set your journal apart from everyone else’s. This level of creativity makes your spreads TikTok-able, Pinterest-worthy, and overall just desire able.

Stationary products matter in an effort of practicality as well. Imagine you didn’t have stickers that separated sections or spreads? (That wouldn’t be very swag of you.)

I personally use a variety of stickers to separate and distinguish between seasons and particular moments of note. Imagine stickers of important moments like:

• Important Due Dates
• Birthdays
• Task identifiers

Okay, so this isn’t a one size fits all scenario. Bullet journal stickers have to apply to the scenarios they are needed in. I would be weird if I just started throwing stickers around willy nilly and not paying attention to the ACTUAL journaling part of the experience.

I like this category a lot since picks really revolve around what YOUR aesthetic is. You can find a lot of inspiration on Pinterest and TikTok regarding the fine print, but holistically the sky is the limit.

Functional Bullet Journal Stickers

THIS is my cup of tea. Nothing I enjoy more than some good functional bullet journal stickers. This category is where you find your stick on calendars, colored tabs and reactions.

My go-to sticker combinations are the rating systems, like stars and [insert thing]/10. I also dabble a bit in the habit tracking scene, but that’s a rabbit hole I’ll get into another day.

Inspirational Bullet Journal Stickers

Not my favorite, but this category is where you’ll find the motivational quotes and cheesy one-liners. If you’re into quotes from mysterious people on the internet there’s plenty of resources online to embed them in your bullet journal surprisingly.

While I may not like inspirational quotes and whatnot, I am a sucker for positive affirmations. I find that you’re better off writing them in your bullet journal yourself. Not only will it be MORE meaningful, you could save a few cents in your pursuit for mindfulness. ✌️

Thoughtful consideration and organization are key here. Bullet journals aren’t a throwaway and start over experience, the organizational system you implement is something you have to adopt for the bulk of your journal.
