Re-Centering December 2023

Quick acknowledgment of efforts is important and theres some recentering that must be done!

If you’re new here, I blog my monthly check-ins when goal setting and checking on progress. If you have any thoughts, questions or concerns you can leave a comment!

So what are some current challenges and main attentive things?

  • [College] Academic Writing 1
  • [Side Hustle] The August Archives
  • [Occupation] Public Affairs Work

I’m a bit behind in class and working on catching up. This is being moved towards the main priority as the suspense date is getting closer for all the content. After this class there is two weeks off into January, starting the next semester.

How do I feel?

I feel good, I’m happy about posting rather consistently on the August Archives and the progress the blog is seeing on analytics platforms is awesome. I find myself to be a lot more motivated in the sense of scope and understanding of SEO and content management.

I am stressed about the financial future, dealing with the car situation plus the debt from it is not exciting for me. I want to make sure I’m doing the best in my ability to generate income to better pay that off and build savings.

But I’m gathering that the way to accomplish that is hyper specialization where I put all of my time and energy into making that work. Which is scary. I don’t want to give up on school or put anything on back burners anymore. I’ve wasted enough time.

What are my solutions or efforts toward success?

These last few days I’ve posted almost daily on ~The August Archives~ and that’s been pretty swag. The articles haven’t been indexed just yet but I’m hopeful that they will rank well.

I’m actually going to take some time I would’ve dedicated to the blog and allocate that to catching up on school work. I think that’s the best course of action and still grants me the space to do the challenge starting in December. (Never mind December starts in a day lmao)

Notable Mentions

Sun City Underground was primarily a company for promotion and what not. But I think converting it to a Public Relations agency is a better suit. We can specialize in music clients but also serve a larger audience. While hosting events and still having a blogging platform.

But that’s a future me endeavor.
